Diversity defines Schulich. Diversity defines our cultural experiences. It’s time to celebrate the international character of our student body with Schulich’s biggest cultural extravaganza on October 12,


Culture Crawl is an event organized by the GBC to celebrate the diversity of Schulich graduate students. During the event, participants will experience different international cultures and interact with new and current classmates. This event will begin with a talent show followed by a Pavilion crawl, where students sample food and drinks from different countries.


I: Talent ShowCulture Crawl 1

The Culture Crawl Talent Show gives all students the opportunity to cherish the multitude of talent and diversity that exists at Schulich by performing an art that ties them to their culture. The talent show is also the only opportunity during the year for you to share your special talent with the school, be it dancing, acting, singing, or playing a musical instrument.

By registering for the the talent show, you agree to:

  • Design a maximum of 8 minutes of performance that best represents your culture.
    In case of a skit or drama performance, the act should not exceed more than 15-20 minutes.IMG_4764 (1)
  • Provide a list of team member(s) and represent your team in every conversation with the GBC
  • Prepare a 150 – 200 words performance introduction to be sent to the GBC.
  • Send a photo of each team member along with 30-50 words introduction to the GBC.
  • Prepare a PowerPoint slide to show during the performance in the auditorium


II. Host a Pavilion

Owning a pavilion is a perfect opportunity to introduce your culture to your classmates. Decorate your house and prepare some delicious food that best represents your country.

By signing up to the Pavilion crawl, you agree to:IMG_4882 (1)

  • Organize a program at the student residence that best represent your culture, including prepare food and alcohol tasting for 200-250 people (Both Vegetarian and non-vegetarian)
  • Provide list of team member and represent your team to any conversation to the GBC.
  • Provide a residence in Assiniboine or Passy to host the pavilion.
  • Prepare a 150 – 200 words Pavilion introduction to be sent to the GBC.
  • One country per pavilion. Pavilion would be allocated on first come first serve basis.




Note: The Event is free for the participants of the talent show and pavilion.
